Doris E. Bussard

Doris E. Bussard, 96, of Everett, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Bedford Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center, Bedford, PA.

Doris was born in Everett on April 8, 1927, daughter of the late Perry and Freda (Simmons) Harclerode.

On October 5, 1946, she married her husband Roy Bussard Jr. who preceded her in death on March 25, 2012.

She is survived by daughter- Lois widow of Dennis Householder, of Everett; daughter- Lisa wife of Scott Sleighter, of Everett; two granddaughters: Whitney & Lauren; along with three great-grandchildren: Trey, Theo, & Peyton; and sister- Margaret "Peggy" Wynn. Doris is preceded in death by sister Catherine Whisler and brothers Kenton Harclerode, and Howard Harclerode.

Doris was a life member of First Christian Church, in Everett.

She graduated from the Everett High School Senior Class of 1945, and she was continually active in keeping that class involved with reunions.

She was a Beeline Fashions Stylist for over 20 years, she earned the "Presidential Award" for being #1 in sales in the nation. She was also awarded numerous trips in the United States and abroad for her sales. Through the years she made numerous friends all across the country.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 4-7 PM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services Inc., Bedford.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services Inc., Bedford with Reverend Robert Robertson officiating.

Interment will be private at the request of the family.
