Dora Ann (Miller) Smith

Dora Ann Smith, 71, of Emerick Road, Schellsburg, died Friday, November 19, 2021 at Conemaugh Nason Hospital, Blair County.

Mrs. Smith was born in Napier Twp. on August 6, 1950, daughter of the late Cubin F. and Georgia L. (Taylor) Miller.

On February 21, 1969 Dora Ann married David J. Smith. He preceded her in death on December 9, 2020.

She is survived by  Son- Anthony D. Smith, Schellsburg; Son- Adam T. husband of  Wendy (Seymour) Smith, Schellsburg; Daughter- Sarah A. wife of  Shawn Bender, Accident, MD; Grandchildren Alexander, Aaron husband of Emily, Aubrey husband of Jozie; Avery husband of Erin, Hannah, Isaac, Georgia, Brielle, Bristol, Brietta and Bridgette; Great granddaughter Olivia, Brother- James  Miller, Schellsburg; Brother- Perry husband of  Arlene Miller, Schellsburg; Brother- Dennis husband of  Sandra Miller, Schellsburg.  Dora Ann was preceded in death by her parents and husband along with 3 brothers- Clay "Dick", Joseph and Thomas Miller.

She was a member of Ryot Church of the Nazarene.

Dora Ann enjoyed crafting, especially sewing and crocheting. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends will be received on Monday, November 22, 2021 from 6-8PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00AM on Tuesday, November 23,  with Pastor Derrick Bender officiating.

Interment at Schellsburg Cemetery.
