Donald Richard Laird, Jr.

Mr. Donald Richard Laird, Jr., 60 of Everett, died suddenly, Tuesday, January 28th, 2014 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Laird was born in Coatesville on Friday, June 19, 1953,  the son of the late Donald Richard Laird, Sr. and Esther (Beale) Laird.

He is survived by  Brother- Warren Laird, Clearville; Brother- James Laird, Parkesburg; Brother- Thomas Laird, Coatesville; Brother- Michael Laird, Downingtown; Sister- Donna Bewley, Boyertown; Sister- Cynthia Thompson, Christiana; Sister- Michelle Laird, Boyertown.  He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.

He was a 1971 graduate of Downingtown High School and a graduate of the VOTEC school for agricultural studies.  He was employed by JLG in McConnellsburg.   He enjoyed auctions, gardening, canning foods and hunting.

A Memorial Visitation and Service will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Raystown Road, Everett from 1:00 - 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 17th, 2014.
