Mr. Donald R. Williams, 50, of Williams Lane, Schellsburg, died at 3:05 PM, Wednesday, May 16th, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Williams was born in Snake Spring Twp. on Wednesday, October 25, 1961, the son of the late John M. "Max" and Marie K. (Teeter) Williams.
On July 10, 1997, he married Candy A. (Taylor) Williams. In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Donald Maxwell Williams, at home; Son- Daniel Thomas Williams, at home; Brother- Gary R. Williams, Greenbackville, VA; Sister- Bonnie M. L'Heureux, Ephrata; Brother- John M. Williams, Jr., Schellsburg; Sister- Georgia M. Williams, Schellsburg. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Williams and by a sister, Linda Moffatt.
Don was a 1979 graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School and attended the Johnstown Vo-Tech, taking courses in drafting. He was a self-employed excavating contractor. Don was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #113 in Bedford and a social member of the Pleasantville VFW Post #9219.
A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 19th, 2012 with Pastor James Neatrour officiating.
Friends are invited to call on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
