Donald C. Sams

Mr. Donald C. Sams, 92, of Ft. Washington, MD & Manns Choice, died Friday, March 6th, 2015 at his home in Maryland.

Mr. Sams was born in Manns Choice on Wednesday, February 14, 1923,  the son of the late Asa and Zora (Mowry) Sams.

On December 25, 1945, he married Elizabeth (Bahm) Sams.  In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Rick Sams, North Beach, MD.  Mr. Sams was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Willis, Fred, Walter & Warren.

Mr. Sams served in the US Army Air Force in the European Theatre during W.W.II and in the Air Force during the Korean War.

A graveside service will be held at Bedford Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 10th, 2015 with Kathy Dom officiating.

Graveside military rites will be accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
