Mr. Donald C. Lambert, 78, of Dunkard Hollow Road, Alum Bank,  died Tuesday, August 8th, 2017 at Pittsburgh Veteran's Hospital.

Mr. Lambert was born in Johnstown on September 17, 1938,  the son of the late Warren and Florence (Noon) Lambert.

On June 25, 1961, he married Bonnie L. (Callihan) Lambert.  In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Donald L. Lambert and fiancee Kimberly Cox, Alum Bank; Grandson- Denver husband of  Stephanie (Oldham) Mateer; Grandson- Tyler Myers and companion Cullie Tew; Step Grandson- Christopher Crowley and fiancee Sarah; Step Granddaughter, Heather Carson and husband Mark and three step great grandchildren, Landen, Raelynne & Cameron;  Brother- Paul "Pete" Lambert, Johnstown; Brother- Melvin Lambert, Alum Bank; Sister- Cora Cornes, Florida; Sister- Jean Brehm, York.  He was preceded in death by following siblings, Bill, Dollie Emmel, Herbert and David

Mr. Lambert was affiliated with the Faith Brethren Bible Church.  He was a US Army Medic, serving during the Vietnam War and retiring in 1980 as Sergeant.  Don was a wonderful man who enjoyed feeding the deer and spending time with his family.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and he will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc, Pleasantville at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 15th, 2017 with Pastor James Espenshade officiating.

Interment will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park. Graveside military rites will be accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Geisel Funeral Home
