Don especially enjoyed grilling out with his fellow co workers. He also liked to hunt. Donnie was a friendly person who enjoyed talking and getting to know others. Donnie will be remembered for helping his parents in their later years by visiting daily and faithfully maintaining the yard work and snow removal at their home. He would transport his Dad to dialysis early in the morning on holidays when CART was not available. He also transported his mother to doctor’s appointments; grocery shopped and ran errands on his day off. He would also go to the Bedford American Legion to get dinners and deliver to his parents and other neighbors. The most important decision Donnie ever made was on Sunday, November 27, 2016 when he gave his life to the Lord.
