Donald W. Dicken

Mr. Donald W. Dicken, 83, of Rock Hill Church Road, Clearville, died at 2:08 PM, Friday, June 27th, 2014 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Dicken was born in Clearville on Wednesday, June 3, 1931,  the son of the late John and Velma (Collins) Dicken.

On July 20, 1966, he married Mary E. (Keefer) Dicken.  In addition to his wife, Don is survived by many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene "Sonny" Dicken and John Dicken and by an infant sister.

Don was a member of the Clearville United Methodist Church and served in the US Army during the Korean War.  He was employed as a truck driver for Maryland Transportation and Everite Door Company.

A memorial service will be held on at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Everett on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jay Saxe officiating.   Interment will be held privately at the Union Cemetery in Clearville.

Friends are invited to call on Saturday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home in Everett.

Military rites will accorded by the Everett Honor Guard.
