Derek P. Harr

Derek P. Harr, 4, of Feathers Court, Claysburg died Friday, April 19th, 2013 at Children's Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Derek was born in Huntingdon, on Saturday, January 31, 2009,  the son of  Matthew Don and Christine Ann Harr of Claysburg.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by Brother- Drew M. Harr, at home; Paternal Grandparents- Don and Betty Harr, Imler; Maternal Grandparents- Curtis and Joan Leader, Everett.

Derek and his family attend Crossroads Bible Church.

Derek attended pre-school at Growing Years Learning Center at Allegheny Lutheran Social Ministries in Claysburg and was the bat boy for his brother Drew's baseball team.

Derek loved Jeep Wranglers ("Wanglers"), playing in the mud, and sleeping with Mommy. His favorite TV show was Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

Derek will be very sadly missed by his big brother Drew, his mommy and daddy, his grandparents, aunts and uncles and many cousins, and his dogs, Chloe and Bullseye.

A funeral service will be held  at Crossroads Bible Church, Bedford at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 24th, 2013  with Pastor Mark Dillow officiating and words by Derek's father, Matt Harr.

Interment will be held at Greenfield Cemetery, Claysburg.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford and on Wednesday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Crossroad's Bible Church.
