Delcie A. (Dodson) Fochtman
March 15, 1938 — September 13, 2012
Mrs. Delcie A. Fochtman, 74, of Tunnell Road, Berlin (New Baltimore), died at 8:52 PM, Thursday, September 13th, 2012 at Johnstown Memorial Medical Center.
Mrs. Fochtman was born in Hopewell on Tuesday, March 15, 1938, the daughter of the late Charles and Ethel (Wright) Dodson.
On August 25, 1960, she married Eugene L. Fochtman. He preceded her in death on September 19, 1991.
She is survived by Son- Ronald E. husband of Susan (Bracken) Fochtman, Berlin; Son- Kenneth J. husband of Tammy (Smith) Fochtman, Frostburg, MD; Son- Steven P. Fochtman, Frederick, MD; Son- Michael G. Fochtman, Berlin; Brother- Mearl Dodson, Omaha, NE; Sister- Betty Wright, Clanton, AL; Sister- Mary Jean Wilson, Dewey, IL; Sister- Esther Mellott, Tyrone; Sister- Hilda Sarver, Casselman; Sister- Dora Will, Central City; Brother- Herbert Dodson, Six Mile Run; Brother- Ricky Dodson, Hopewell. She is also survived by three grandsons, Noah Fochtman, Nicholas Fochtman and Lucas Bracken. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Stanley, Lloyd "Jay" and Roy "Butch", three infant brothers, Ray, Thomas and Fred and two infant sisters, Josophine and Hazel.
Delcie was a homemaker, an avid bingo and PA Lottery player. She enjoyed feeding and watching hummingbirds and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. .
A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 10:30 AM on Monday, September 17th, 2012 with Father George Jakopac officiating.
Interment will be held at St. Johns Cemetery, New Baltimore.
Friends are invited to call on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home. A vigil for the deceased will be held on Sunday at 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
