David C. Walter

David C. Walter,73, of Cortland Drive, New Paris died Monday, December 2, 2019 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Walter was born in Roaring Spring on September 18, 1946, son of the late Daniel and Ethelda "Sis" (Crawford) Walter.
On November 13, 1981 David married Karen E. (May) Walter.
In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Danielle  D. wife of  Gene Ferguson, Cumberland, MD; Son- Richard D. husband of  Ashley (Ross) Walter, New Paris; Granddaughter-  Hannah A. Walter; Grandson- Gavin Walter; Step-grandchildren Natalie, Owen and Kristin Claycomb; Sister- Carol Eltman, Bedford.
Dave served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Korea.
He retired from Sprint where he worked as a cable splicer.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 5, 2019  with Pastor James Neatrour officiating.
