Mr. David W. Brown, Sr., 62, of E. Garman Road, Osterburg, died Saturday, January 27th, 2018 at his home.
Mr. Brown was born in Roaring Spring on April 17, 1955, he was the son of Irene (Helsel) Brown of Bedford and the late John H. Brown.
On October 31, 1981, he married Pamela S. (Vaughn) Brown. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by Son- Travis M. May, Red Lion; Son- David W. Brown, Jr., North Carolina; Son- Daniel J. Brown, North Carolina; Sister- Lisa Mock, Alum Bank; Sister- Bonnie Winston, Fairmont, WV; Sister- Geraldine Ford, Bedford; Sister- Doris Snowden, Schellsburg; Sister- Marilyn Snowden, Everett; Sister-in-Law- Sharleen Brown, Imler. He is also survived by a number of grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Brown, a sister, Nicole Aldridge and a nephew, Ben Mock.
David was served in the US Army. He was formerly employed at JLG in McConnellsburg for seven years. He then went on to be a welder for MCS in Pleasantville for six years. David enjoyed fishing and had a great appreciation for motorcycles and old cars. David loved being with his dog Beau and spending time with his family and friends. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother and friend and he will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Service will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc, Pleasantville at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, January 30th, 2018 with H. John Miller presiding.
Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM at the Geisel Funeral Home in Pleasantville.
