Mr. Daryl R. Clark, 86, of Pigeon Hill Road, Bedford died Sunday, January 13th, 2013 at him home.

Mr. Clark was born in Johnstown on Monday, June 21, 1926,  the son of the late William A. and Blanche O.  (Hillegass) Clark.

On August 31, 1958, he married Janice M. (Tew) Clark.  She preceded him in death on April 12, 2012.

He is survived by  Son- David R. husband of  Amy E. (Braman) Clark, Bedford; Daughter- Darla Jean Clark, Duncansville; Daughter- Susan K. wife of  Dwayne Yothers, Bedford; Brother- Tim husband of  Andrea Clark, Reynoldsdale; Brother- Garry husband of  Kathy Clark, Bedford; Sister- Karen Johnson, NC. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Amanda, Jonathen, Dillan, Daryl, Bridget, Joshua, Jacob and Alyx. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Clark and by a sister, Delores McCreary

Daryl served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.  He was employed as a truck driver for Carolina Freight for 18 years.  He also drove for Maxwell Transportation.  Daryl was a member of the Bedford American Legion Post #113 and the Central PA Truckers Association.   .

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, January 16th, 2013 with Pastor Daniel Stultz officiating.

Interment will be held at  Schellsburg Cemetery.  Graveside military rites will be accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 at the funeral home.
