Danny Lee White Sr.

Danny Lee White Sr, born on October 4, 1963, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 16, 2025 with his family at his side.

Danny was raised by his loving parents, Fred T. and Shirley White, who gave him the best in life and was ever so grateful they chose him.

His mother and sister, Michelle White survive him and will miss him immensely.

Growing up, Danny had a passion for the automotive industry. Starting before he could even drive, he was rebuilding engines in his parent's basement. After graduating from Surrattsville High School in 1981, he went on to Automotive school in Nashville, Tennessee and became a Certified Master Mechanic in 1982. He served many years in the "car business" and was turning wrenches until his passing, as one of his many hobbies.

His legacy lives on in his children: Danny Lee White Jr. and Kaitlyn Pittman, Laura Lee and Glen Cessna, and Nicholas Lee and Brooke White to whom he was an amazing father. He never missed a phone call and was always there when they needed him.

Danny was the proud Soda Pop of his grandchildren: Jayden, Dakota, Emma, Kaylee Karma, Henry Wayne, Bram David, Emmett and Delilah Jane. Attending baseball, soccer, football, volleyball and wrestling events were something he lived for. Watching these children grow lit up his days. It was the honor of his life to be a part of theirs.

Danny is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will always remember his quick-witted remarks. He also leaves behind two special sisters, Tonya and Tracey, who in addition to the mother of his children, will treasure his love and support given to them for most of their lives.

It is our sincere prayer that upon his passing he ran into the arms of Jesus and his father Fred who preceded him in death in 2022 and a special sister, Tarra in 2020.

We hope that heaven serves a salad as fast as humanly possible, Pop.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Bedford.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 1 PM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Bedford with Pastor Todd Greenawalt officiating.
