Daniel S. Morris

Daniel S. Morris, 65, of Bedford, Pennsylvania passed away  on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at UPMC Altoona Hospital, Altoona, PA.

Daniel was born in Snake Spring Township on Mother's Day, May 12, 1957, a gift to the late Stanley A. Morris and Norma J. (Shaffer) Morris-Zembower.

He is survived by mother- Norma J. (Shaffer) Morris-Zembower wife of Ike Zembower, of Bedford; brother- Tim husband of Jayne (Sarver) Morris, Bedford; nephew- Ely husband of Kristi (Mortimore) Morris, of Bedford; special friend Darlene Felix, of Bedford; stepbrother- Zeke husband of Dotti Zembower; stepsister- Leah wife of Bob Rouzer; stepbrother- Mark Zembower and stepbrother- Eric husband of Jodi Zembower.

Dan was born into The Village Assembly of God Church, now Real Life Church.

Daniel worked for Tom Malec Masonry as a mason. He belonged to the BW Gun Club, avid Mushroom Hunter "known as Mushroom Dan" and deer hunter. He was a very patient man who loved his friends and was always there to lend a helping hand. On Flag Day and Veterans Day, Dan took it upon himself to make sure the Flag standing on the hill at the Narrows Bridge had a light on it.

A visitation will be held Monday, January 2nd, 2023 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023, at 1 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Foor officiating. Interment will be at Woods Church Cemetery, Bedford, PA.
