Dale E. Morris

Mr. Dale E. Morris, 76, of Valley Road, Schellsburg, died Friday, August 18th, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Morris was born in Brush Valley, Fulton County, on April 28, 1941, the son of the late George and Goldie (Miller) Morris.

In October of 1962, he married Gail (Gordon) Morris.  In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Robert L. Morris and companion Margaret Barnett, Schellsburg; Son- Brian W. Morris and companion Jackie Stufft, New Paris; Grandson- Ryan Morris and companion Megan Heidel; Great Granddaughter- Mila; Sister- Wanda Smith, Artemas; Sister- Shirley Ford, Everett; Sister- Charlotte Wentz, Hopewell; Sister- Ruth Adomnick, Maryland; Sister- Audrey Bowman, McConnellsburg; Brother- Carl Morris, Everett.  He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Breena Morris and a sister, Eunice Heister.

Dale was affiliated with the Christ Victory Church in New Buena Vista.   He was a carpenter by trade.  Dale enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, fishing, camping and working in the garden.  He loved spending time with his family and being with his dog "Angel",  Dale was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and he will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held at Christ Victory Church, New Buena Vista at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2017 with Pastor Pat Murphy, Pastor Dan Oldham & Pastor Jeff Ling officiating.

Interment will be held at Fishertown Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at at the Church.
