C. Robert Daugherty

Mr. Daugherty was born in E. St. Clair Township on Thursday, July 2, 1942, the son of the late Charles M. and Florence E. (Smith) Daugherty.
On September 22, 1962, he married Marilyn F. (MIller) Daugherty.
In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Troy R. husband of Joyce (Wheatley) Daugherty, Bedford; Daughter- Krista D. wife of David Barber, Winchester, VA; Daughter- Shari L. wife of Craig Zembower, New Paris; Son- Lorne B. husband of Morgan (Diehl) Daugherty, Bedford; Brother- Harry E. husband of Karen Daugherty, Bedford; Sister- Ruth A. wife of Duane Miller. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Heather, Chris, Brad, Taylor, Tim, Jade, Dan, Adam, Addison, Joyce, Reid, Jonah & Blake plus one on the way, and 2 great grandchildren, Khloe & Abigail plus one on the way.
Bobby was a member of the Cross Roads Bible Church and sang in the church choir. He was the manager of Culp Monument Works in Schellsburg. Bobby was previously employed at the former Standard Register in Bedford as a press operator for 30 years. He was the secretary and treasurer for the Chestnut Ridge Municipal Authority. Bobby was a member of the Fishertown Community Band, the founder and lead singer for the Gospel Messengers and a member of the Fishetown Memorial Day Committee, where he was also the MC.
A Funeral Service will be held at Cross Roads Bible Church, Bedford at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 26th, 2014 with Rev. Mark Dillow officiating.
Interment will be held at Fishertown Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Cross Roads Bible Church in Bedford.
