Cora L. (Reininger) Feather

Cora L. Feather, 89, of Presbyterian Village, Hollidaysburg formerly of Schellsburg, died Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Presbyterian Villiage, Blair County.

Mrs. Feather was born in St. Clair Twp.  on September 1, 1930,   daughter of the late William and Mae (Trout) Reininger.

On July 6, 1949 Cora married James R. Feather. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2006.

She is survived by  Daughter- Nina S.  wife of  John Wagner, Springfield, WV; Daughter- Pamela J. wife of  William Grozanick, Patton; Son- Kevin M. Feather, Cumberland, MD; 3 Grandchildren Sara, Rachel and Garth.  Cora was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Son- James Alan Feathers and the following siblings, brothers-Glenn "Bill", Harry "Jiggs", Kenneth,  Reininger, infant brother- Dale, and the following sisters-  Ruie Parks, Mary Cuppett, Kathryn Urice and infant sister- Pauline.

Cora was a 1949 graduate of Schellsburg-Napier High.

She worked at Ben Franklin Store, Eureka Store and Crawford’s Hardware all in Bedford and also at Wright's Orchard.

Cora was of the Protestant faith.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 10-11AM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg. Masks are suggested and we ask that you please practice social distancing.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 3, 2020  with Pastor John Bennett officiating.
