Conrad Wesley Leach, 81, of Ritchey Rd, Everett passed away on January 22, 2021 at his home.
Conrad was born on October 18 1939 in Everett, the son of the late Homer (Toby) Leach and Elizabeth (Wissie) Diehl.
He is survived by his wife Gillian (Rippon) Leach whom he united in marriage on January 14, 1961 at All-Souls Church Peterborough, England. Brother Gregory K. Leach (Mary), 4 children Robbie D. Leach Clearville, Karla D. Norris (Max Jr.) Everett, Dr. Gillian R. Harclerode (Aaron) Glenmore and Conrad W. Leach (Michele) Ford City. He is also survived by 6 grandsons; Cody L. Leach, Zachary E. Norris (Alysha), William C. Norris, Justin W. Leach, Dominic A. Harclerode and Mason T. Leach, 1 granddaughter Isabella G. Harclerode, 1 great granddaughter Enzlie I. Norris and a great grandchild due this spring.
Conrad joined the National Guard in 1956 as a young high school student and served 1957-1961 in the 10th. A&E U.S. Air Force as a jet engine mechanic in Germany and England. He lived all his life in Bedford County, except for his military service, and had been heard to say that he had seen a lot of the world and there was no place more beautiful than Bedford County.
Conrad was a 7th generation Bedford County builder, craftsman and artisan whom along with his late father, brother and sons built many local homes over the last 60 years. He was a Past Sachem, Lifetime 60 year member of the Improved of Redman, Wambic Tribe 507 and a lifetime member of the Breezewood VFW.
