Mr. Clifford D. "Kip" Imler, 84, of Colonial Courtyard, Bedford, formerly of Alum Bank, died Friday, June 17th, 2016 at Pennknoll Village.
Mr. Imler was born in Roaring Spring on October 13, 1931, the son of the late John C. and Margaret (Kagarise) Imler.
On May 28, 1955, he married Alice "Betty" (Metzker) Imler. In addition to his wife he is survived by Sister- Betty Burkett, King; Brother- Gary husband of Sue Imler, Fishertown; Brother- Richard husband of Faye Imler, Pulaski; Brother- Barry wife of Wanda Imler, Lewistown. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Cletus, John, Franklin, Kenneth & Donald and by two sisters, Freda Mock & Sandy Imler.
Kip as a graduate of Replogle High School in Yellow Creek. He served for 22 years in the Army & Air Force. Upon his retirement from the military, he worked at Ridge Top Orchards in Fishertown. Kip was a wonderful husband, brother, uncle & friend and he will be greatly missed.
A private memorial service will be held by the family.
Interment will be held at Clearville Union Cemetery.
