Mrs. Cleda Mae  Turner, 80, of E. Vondersmith Ave., Bedford, passed away Saturday, December 27th, 2014 peacefully and surrounded by her family at Carrol's Rest Home, Bedford.

Mrs. Turner was born in Everett on Wednesday, October 10, 1934,  the daughter of the late Ira and Edna (Feight) Winck.

On December 19, 1959, she married O. Gene Turner.  He preceded her in death on August 6, 2013.

She is survived by  Son- Mark W. husband of  Michele (Cornell) Turner, Bedford; Son- Kevin O. husband of  Jamie (Eshelman) Turner, Bedford; Daughter-in-Law- Linda (Davis) Turner, Bedford; Sister- Nancy wife of  Bill Zimmerman, Everett. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Marissa, Jared, Justin, Brandon & Michael, and three great grandchildren, Darren, Kira & Kian. She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Thomas Turner, two brothers, Frank & Ellis Winck and two sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Calhoun & Jean Suter.

Cleda Mae was a member of the Everett Church of God.  She was a homemaker and was employed first as at the Bedford County Unemployment Office, then for 34 years as a secretary for Turner & Feight Motors. She was a past Worthy Matron in the Order of the Eastern Star Bedford Springs Chapter #41.  Cleda was an avid bowler, bowling in many different leagues at the Bedford Elks Country Club.  She enjoyed playing the piano, singing in the choir and reading.  Cleda Mae loved her family, especially her grandchildren and she will be missed greatly.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 31st, 2014 with Pastor William Kisner officiating.

Interment will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 4:00 - 7:00 PM and on Wednesday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home in Bedford.
