Chris E. Etter, 68, of Everett, Pennsylvania passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022 after a short illness at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, PA.
Mr. Etter was born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania on September 26, 1953, son of the late Elliott and Peggy (O'Donnell) Etter.
He is survived by fiancé-Kay Wiles, Everett; son- Jesse husband of Jodi (Gitt) Etter, of Shippensburg, son- Jeremy husband of Kimberly (Burkholder) Etter, of Shippensburg; he was previously married to Rebbecca (Stum) Etter, of Chambersburg; brother- Tracy husband of Linda Etter, of Mechanicsburg; as well as six grandchildren and one great grandson.
Chris was a life member of the Hub City Club- Shippensburg. He was affiliated with Chestnut Ridge Fellowship Church.
He was a sales clerk at Your Building Center in Everett and worked at Ingersoll-Rand Company in Shippensburg and Compaction America. Chris was an avid hunter when he was a younger man. He also enjoyed playing guitar and teaching others to play. He loved pulling pranks and was very much a people person. He was a very generous and giving man. Chris was loved by so many and will be deeply missed.
A visitation will be held Monday, 27 of June, 2022 from 3 PM to 6 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022, at 6 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, with Pastor Dan Oldham officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Chris E. Etter to the Shippensburg Midget Football League at P.O. Box 94, Shippensburg, PA. 17257.
