Charles Foor, Jr.

Mr. Charles  Foor, Jr., 73, of Beegle Road, Bedford, passed away Friday, March 11th, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Foor was born in Everett on Sunday, October 25, 1942,  the son of the late Charles E. and Sarah K. Foor.

On February 11, 1960, he married  Alice Faye (Roudabush) Foor.

In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Karen wife of Steven Simmonds, Ohio; Son- Ronald husband of  Laura (Walter) Foor, Bedford; Daughter- Linda Foor and companion Dave Hartbarger, Maryland; Granddaughter- Cheri wife of Jimmy; Granddaughter- Robyn wife of Jerry; Granddaughter- Nicole wife of Snub; Grandson- Brandan husband of Alison; seven great grandchildren- Emily, Paige, Brody, Bella Mason, Snub, & Riley; Brother- Ted husband of Kate Foor, Bedford; Brother- Bob husband of Jo Ann Foor, Cessna; Sister- Annie Defibaugh, Everett; Brother- Roy Foor, Bedford.  He was preceded in death by his son, Danny Lee Foor and by three brothers, Pete, Phil, & Harry and by two sisters, Betty & Isabelle.

Charles was affiliated with the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church.  He retired from Bedford Valley Petroleum, where he worked as a mechanic & truckdriver.  After his retirement, Alice and Charlie were called "The Team" and ran the rollback part-time for Ressler's Automotive & Towing in Bedford.  Charlie was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle & friend and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 16th,  2016 with Pastor Bob Stultz officiating.

Interment will be held at Greenfield Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Bedford.
