Carol Maxine (Bruck) Restly

Mrs. Carol Maxine (Bruck) Restly, 68, of Juniata Street, New Baltimore, died Saturday, March 31st, 2018 at Somerset Hospital.

Mrs. Restly was born in Somerset on May 8, 1949,  the daughter of the late Alvin G. and Ruth L. (Harmon) Bruck.

On April 24, 1971, she married Francis Thomas Restly.  In addition to her husband she is survived by Daughter- Christine N.(Restly) wife of Dale Black, Gibsonia; Son- Frank T. Restly, Windber; Son- Shawn K. Restly and fiancée Susan Boyd, Hollidaysburg; Son- Daryl W. Restly, New Baltimore; Son- Steven M. Restly, Mt. Pleasant; Granddaughter-  Alyssa Restly; Granddaughter-  Megan Black; Sister- Clara M. wife of Donald Smith, Fairhope; Sister- Wilma L. wife of David Fetter, New Paris.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Melvin G. Bruck.

Carol was a member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Baltimore.  She was a graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School.  Upon graduation, she enrolled in the US Army WAC program.  Carol was a homemaker and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Berlin.  She was a wonderful wife, a loving mother and grandmother, a devoted sister and a great friend.  Carol will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, April 4th, 2018 with Father Aron Maghsoudi celebrant.

Committal Services will be held at St. Johns Cemetery, New Baltimore.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, where a vigil for the deceased will be held.
