Carol J. (Benner) Stoltzfus

Mrs. Carol J. Stoltzfus, 63, of Mill Ridge Road, Everett, formerly of Lancaster, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 11th, 2015 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Mrs. Stoltzfus was born in Lancaster on Monday, October 20, 1952,  the daughter of Mary (Hershey) Benner of White Horse and the late  Roy Benner.

On March 11, 1972, she married Michael R. Stoltzfus.  In addition to her husband she is survived by her mother and  Son- Joseph husband of  Kathleen Stoltzfus, Cherry Hill, NJ; Daughter- Rachel wife of  John Delacruz, Saint Augustine, FL; Son- Adam Stoltzfus, at home; Four granddaughters- Lauren, Allison, Julia & Grace; Sister- Annetta Moyer, Narvon; Brother- Calvin husband of  Sharon Benner, Elizabethtown; Brother- Bob husband of  Betsy Benner, Gap; Brother- Herbert husband of  Melanie Benner, White Horse; Brother- Dale Benner, White Horse.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Frances.

Carol was a member of the Bedford Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Bedford.  She was very active in her church and loved spending time with family and church friends.  For over 25 years, she helped her husband on their dairy farm and after retirement was a caregiver to the elderly. Carol's love for the Lord was evident in every aspect of her life.  Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and she will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held at Bedford Christian and Missionary Alliance Church on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Steven Egbert officiating.

Interment will be held at Old Road Mennonite Church Cemetery, Lancaster

Friends are invited to call on Saturday from 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Carol towards the missionary work at the Bedford Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 9391 Lincoln Hwy., Bedford, PA 15522.
