Mr. Carlton R. "Dick"  Leslie, 69, of  Alum Bank, died at 12:15 PM, Saturday, February 28th, 2015 at Conemaugh Medical Center, Johnstown.

Mr. Leslie was born in Altoona on Tuesday, September 4, 1945,  the son of the late Carlton Theodore and Jessie M. (Moorehead) Leslie.

On March 3, 1978, he married Patricia J. (Lamburn) Leslie.  In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Shawn R. Leslie, Claysburg; Daughter- Christy J. Leslie, Alum Bank; Son- Anthony W. Lamburn, Alum Bank; Grandsons- Jared W. Lamburn & Mason E. Leslie; Sister- Amy C. Sandrus, Altoona; Close Family Friends- Christopher Oldham and his son, Chaise.  He was preceded in death by a grandson, Cody J. Lamburn.

Dick was a member of the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church and served as a sergeant the US Army from 1967 to 1973.  He was a 1965 graduate of Claysburg High School and graduated from the Greensburg Institute of Technology.  He was an electronics technician and was employed with Sears, Roebuck & Company for 35 years.

Dick's passion was music, especially bluegrass and he played banjo and the bass in the band Revised Edition for many years.  He was also an avid collector, enjoyed antique cars & was skilled at home improvement, helping out his family with many projects.  Dick was a fan of NASCAR and professional wresting and was a member of the Bedford American Legion Post #113.  His greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandsons and he treasured every moment he had with them.

Dick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and he will be forever missed  .

A Funeral Service will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasantville at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 5th, 2015.

Military rites will be accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the funeral home in Pleasantville.
