Bivian L. Smith, also known to her loved ones as Bib, Aunt Bibbie and Sis, 88, of Wolfsburg joined her beloved husband, Harry on Friday, September 1, 2017 from UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.

She was born on April 26, 1929 in Schellsburg to the late Lester D. and Lilly (Nunamaker) Leppert.  She was preceded in death by her husband Harry, whom she married on March 6, 1948, her parents, an infant daughter, Gloria and brothers, Howard, Roy & Irivin.

She leaves behind two daughters- Barbara "Barbie", married to Don Pittman and Sandra married to John Mortimore (whom Mrs. Smith called her lifesaver); she was Gram to three grandchildren, Tammy married to Jay Petrou, Brian Mortimore married to Laura (Nee) and Kristi married to Ely Morris; and four great grandchildren, Tyler & Jonathan Petrou and Kaitlyn "Katie" & Josh "Joshie" Mortimore and her cat, "Sammy".

Mrs. Smith is also survived by her brother, Don Leppert, married to Beverly, her sister Vera widow of Jack Beegle, her sister, Genevieve College and her sister Anna Jane married to Ross Fisher.

Bib was a lifelong member of the Point United Methodist Church in Schellsburg.  It was there that she influenced many young lives through Sunday School teachings and using her hands to fulfill many duties.  She worked at many places throughout her life, including Five Gables, Breezy Acres, Wright's Orchard and White Sulphur Springs.  Bib was a member of the Woodbush Community Center.  She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed quilting, crocheting, doing word searches & jigsaw puzzles and reading Amish fiction books.  Because of her large heart and generous soul, she was Mom and Gram to many. Bib lived life to the fullest and never had idle hands.  As she said "Don't cry for me, I'm going to be okay; we'll all be together again in Heaven someday."

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, September 5th, 2017 with Pastor Shane Siciliano officiating.

Interment will be held at Fishertown Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Geisel Funeral Home in Schellsburg.
