Betty A. (Soyka) Hagerich

Mrs. Betty A. Hagerich, 84, of Donahoe Manor Road, Bedford died at 11:51 PM, Friday, November 29th, 2013 at Colonial Courtyard.

Mrs. Hagerich was born in Johnstown on Thursday, August 8, 1929,  the daughter of the late John and Mary (Soyka) Pekera.

On October 16, 1948, she married  Kenneth D. Hagerich.  He preceded her in death on October 24 of this year.

She is survived by  Daughter- Barbara L. wife of  Ronald Bluffin, Lafayette, LA; Daughter- Sharon A. Hagerich, Bedford; Son- Paul F. husband of  Janice (Miller) Hagerich, Bedford. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Matthew, Jennifer, Ryan & Kenna. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas

Betty was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church in Bedford.  She retired from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, where she worked as an events coordinator.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Bedford at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 4th, 2013  with Father Donald Dusza celebrant.

Committal Service will be held at the St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery, Bedford.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, where a vigil for the deceased will be held at 7:30 PM.
