Betty M. Whysong, 93, of Donahoe Manor Road, Bedford died at 6:10 PM, Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Colonial Courtyard, Bedford.
Mrs. Whysong was born in Johnstown on August 19, 1925, the daughter of the late Roscoe L. and Mae Pauline (Holderbaum) Smith.
On March 18, 1943 Betty married H. Dean Whysong, they were married for almost 50 years. He preceded her in death on December 11, 1992.
She is survived by Grandson- Aaron L. husband of Shannon (Karner) Whysong, Lebanon, PA; Granddaughter- Julie C. wife of Brett Spain, Virginia Beach, VA; Great-Grandchildren Jack, Hunter, McKenna, Molly, Sydney, Mia, Kate, Ellie, Luke, Josh, Cody, and Kyle. Betty is preceded in death by Son- Larry Whysong and Sister Kathleen Ickes.
Betty was a life-long member of Messiah Lutheran Church. She was also a member of many clubs and societies in Bedford County.
She enjoyed T.V., sports- especially the Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball, Steelers Football and New York, Yankees Baseball, reading and crossword puzzles. Betty greatly enjoyed her home and playing the organ for her own pleasure.

A private funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.
Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford.
