Betty M. (Hershberger) Peake

Betty M. Peake of Bedford passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014.  She was the daughter of the late Frank and Honor (Pennell) Hershberger.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Russell Peake.

She is survived by her son Allen and his wife Jane (Strayer) Peake of Clinton and her daughter Linda and her husband George Dale Steele of Everett; three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren and one step granddaughter.  She is also survived by her brother Richard and wife Kathryn (May) Hershberger of Osterburg and by a special niece and a special nephew and their families.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing and private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Interment will be held at Bedford Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Peake to a charity of your choice.
