Betty S. (Sheirer) Lewis

Betty S. Lewis, 94, of Milligans Cove Road, Mann Choice, formerly of Buffalo Mills , died on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Donahoe Manor.

Mrs. Lewis was born in Buffalo Mills on December 4, 1925, daughter of the late Clark and Dorothy (Wilhem) Sheirer.

On December 1, 1945 Betty married Paul Lewis, he preceded her in death in 1989.

She is survived by  Daughter- Nancy J. widow of  Donald James, Manns Choice; Son- Ronald L. widow of  Cindy (Miller) Lewis, New Cumberland. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.  Betty was preceded in death by Son-James Lewis, a Granddaughter, a Great Grandson- David Schrengost, 2 infants, and two Brothers- Fred Sheirer and Harold "Buck" Sheirer.

She was a retired Postal Clerk at Buffalo Mills Post Office.

Betty was a member of Buffalo Mills United Methodist Church.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 from 10-11AM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00AM on Wednesday, June 24, 2020  with Pastor James Golla officiating.

Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park.
