Betty Jane (Imler) Karns

Betty Jane Karns, 93, of E. Pitt Street, Bedford, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital, Snake Spring Twp.

Mrs. Karns was born in Imlertown, PA on May 28, 1927, daughter of the late Glenn F. and Virginia Mae (Hartman) Imler.

Betty is survived by  Daughter- Delores "Dee" K. Taylor, Bedford; Daughter- Kathy A. wife of  Randy Bush, Everett; Son- James W. husband of  Dana Karns, Everett; Daughter- Jacqueline "Jackie" L. wife of  Mark Lehman, Bedford. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchildren and half-sister- Beverly Frye, Bedford.

She was preceded in death by daughters- Nancy Jane Karns and Shelia Weyant, Husband- James W. Karns,  Brothers- Glenn and Jack Imler and half-sister- Margaret Duran and half-brother- Jerry Bagley.

Betty loved and adored children and enjoyed babysitting as well as spending time with her family. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park
