Betty J. (Patti) Egolf
February 24, 1929 — October 30, 2013
Mrs. Betty J. Egolf, 84, of Schellsburg, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 30th, 2013 at Windber Hospice.
Mrs. Egolf was born in Bedford on Sunday, February 24, 1929, the daughter of the late Frank and Leona (Risbon) Patti.
She married J. Joseph Egolf on April 7, 1948. He preceded her in death on February 3, 1998.
She is survived by Daughter- Susan K. wife of Veryl Callihan, Schellsburg; Son- Thomas H. husband of Heather (Wilkins) Egolf, Schellsburg; Daughter- Cathy A. wife of Howard H. Bush, Schellsburg; Daughter- Gail L. wife of Michael Montreal, Schellsburg. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Tim Callihan, Jody (Callihan) Mickle, Megan (Bush) Walk and Tony & Morgan Montreal, and two great grandchildren, Jolynn Mickle and Bryce Callihan. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rosalie and twin grandsons, Jacob Howard and Joseph Harry Callihan.
Betty was a homemaker and a mother who helped run the family farm. She was affiliated with Christ Victory Church in Buena Vista. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved traveling, dining out, reading and watching the Pittsburgh Pirates. Betty was an animal lover, who enjoyed the family dogs and watching the wildlife on the farm.
A Funeral Service will be held at Christ Victory Church, New Buena Vista at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 2nd, 2013 with Pastor Patrick Murphy & Pastor Robert Stultz, officiating.
Interment will be held at Schellsburg Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 at the church in New Buena Vista.
