Betty L. (Koontz) Blevins

Betty L. Blevins, 90, of Pensyl Hollow Road,  Bedford, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 18, 2020 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital, Snake Spring Twp.

Mrs. Blevins was born in Bedford Twp. on December 30, 1929, daughter of the late Ross R. and Helen (Hoenstine) Koontz.

On February 11, 1944 Betty married Lannis Blevins in Baltimore, MD. Together they shared 75 years of marriage.

She is survived by  Son- Charles W. husband of  Leslie (Acker) Blevins, Cessna; Daughter- Patsy B. wife of  Rodney Corle, Cessna; Grandchildren Kelly, Becky, Thomas and Amy; Great-grandchildren Kacy, Kody, Ian,  Zachary and Autumn; Sister- Charolette Gene Lucy, FL.  Betty was preceded in death by her husband and Brother- Charles Glen Koontz.

She was a member of  St. Paul’s Church, Cessna.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 1:30-2:30PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.

A funeral service will be held  at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 2:30PM  with Pastor Ryan Patterson officiating.

Masks and social distancing is suggested.

Interment at St. Paul’s Reformed Cemetery, Bedford.
