Barbara E. Brown

Barbara E. Brown, 93, of Alum Bank, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Colonial Courtyard, Bedford, PA.

Barbara was born in Pavia, on July 18, 1931, daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Knisely) Mills.

On September 6, 1952, she married her husband Earl Brown Jr., who preceded her in death on August 30, 2015.

She is survived by son- Richard E. Brown, of Alum Bank; eight grandchildren: Justin, William, Allison, Elisabeth, Robert, Ethan, Heidi, and Sarah; and nine great-grandchildren: Micah, Ezra, Zayne, Kolton, Carter, Grayson, Jacob, Jubilee, and Liberty; and sister- Sara Mills, of Bedford, TX. Barbara is preceded in death by daughter- Kathryn Walter, and sister- Marilyn Ruth Davis.

Barbara was affiliated with Claysburg Bible Church. She worked at Blue Knob Resort as the Condominium Manager, and at the Harris Greenhouse in New Paris. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 5-8 PM and on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 10-11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Bedford.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Bedford with Pastor Keith Showalter officiating.

Interment will be at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford, PA.
