Audrey J. Mellott

Audrey J. Mellott, 90, of Butler Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Audrey was born in New Paris Pennsylvania on February 26, 1934, daughter of the late Charles D. and Edna (Weaver) Mitchell.

On January 29, 1955, she married her husband Roy R. Mellott, who preceded her in death on January 19, 2016.

She is survived by daughter- Belinda and her husband William King, of Slippery Rock; son- Clifford Mellott and his wife Betsy Strawbridge, of Slippery Rock; grandchildren: Colby King and his wife Carrie Phillips, Trevor King and his wife Clara McClenon, Caitlin and her husband William Gabrys, Dana and her husband Arthur Boring III, Dustin Mellott, Kyle Strawbridge; and three great-grandchildren: Audrey King, Delores King, and Arthur Boring IV. Audrey is preceded in death by her siblings: Raymond, Lewis, Richard, infant brother Owen, and sister Kathleen Snyder.

Audrey was raised in the Dunnings Creek Church of Brethren.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Schellsburg.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 12 PM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, with Pastor Eric Larson officiating.

Interment will be at Cuppett Cemetery, New Paris, PA.
