Arthur "Artie" Andrew McMillen

Mr. Arthur Andrew  "Artie"  McMillen, 20, of Fleegle Road, Bedford, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 17th, 2012 in Manns Choice.

Mr. McMillen was born in Bedford on Sunday, November 17, 1991,  the son of  Keith A. McMillen of Bedford and Janet (Van Pelt) Smith, wife of Glen Smith of Bedford.

In addition to his parents and step-father, he is survived by  Sister- Jennifer wife of  Shawn Mort, Bedford; Maternal Grandparents- David & Shelby Van Pelt; Paternal Grandparents- George & Janet McMillen, Aunt- Lana McMillen, Aunt- Valerie McMillen, Uncle- Kirt McMillen, Uncle- Jeff McMillen and Uncle- David Van Pelt, III, Uncle- Thomas Van Pelt and Aunt Dorothy Van Pelt.  Artie is also survived by two nephews, Terrance and Daniel and the following cousins; Hope and Dominique McMillen, Tabatha McMillen, Thomas and Dillon McMillen and Jennifer Kaufman, David Van Pelt, IV, Jacob Van Pelt, Aaron Van Pelt and Kyle Van Pelt.  He is preceded in death by his uncle, Joel McMillen

Artie was a 2010 graduate of Bedford High School.  He attended the University of North Western Ohio, studying auto mechanics.  Artie loved working on vehicles and was formerly employed at 220 Truck Garage.  He was a former Cub Scout and enjoyed roller skating, four wheeling and shooting pool.

A funeral service will be held  at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012  with Rev. Gary Donaldson officiating.

Interment will be held at Fishertown Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 2-4 &6-8 PM at the funeral home.
