April D. (Salisbury) Long

April Dawn Long, 46, of New Paris, Pa, passed away suddenly on February 22, 2022 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, Pa.

She was born on January 19, 1976, in Wooster, Ohio, daughter of Donald L. Salisbury and Gerlene Kay Wiles.

April is survived by daughter- Summer Dawn Yothers and husband Joshua Yothers of Manns Choice; son- Chandler Ryan Brown of New Paris and Chandler's father Chris Brown of Wooster, Ohio; mother- Gerlene Kay Wiles and fiancée Chris Etter of Everett, Pa; father- Donald Leon Salisbury and wife Sharon of Clendenin, WV.; brother- Donald Jeffery (Jeff) Salisbury of West Salem, Ohio; granddaughter-Elianna May Yothers,  aunts- Millie Holstein of Charleston, WV., Wilma Withrow and husband Randy of Scott Depot, WV.; uncles- Billy Hall of Porters Creek, WV., Willie Hall and wife Peggy of Pinnacle, NC. Robert Salisbury of Ohio and Carlos Salisbury of WV. She was previously married to Timothy Long of Wooster Ohio.

For 26 years April worked as a CNA and was currently employed at Homewood Martinsburg.

April was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, niece and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She held a special place in the hearts of many.

Friends and family will be received on Friday March 4, 2022, from 3:00--6:00 PM at Chestnut Ridge Independant Fellowship Church, 1486 Quaker Valley Road, New Paris.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 1:00PM at Chestnut Ridge Independant Fellowship Church with Pastor Dan Oldham.

Interment will be held at Fishertown Cemetery with Pastor Dan Stultz officiating a graveside committal.
