Anna Louise (Ickes) Cessna

Anna Louise Cessna, 78, of Valley Road, Colerain Township died Monday, June 15th, 2015 at Homewood at Martinsburg.

Mrs. Cessna was born in St. Clairsville on Wednesday, July 8, 1936.  She was the daughter of the late Homer Clair and Mildred A. (Emerick) Ickes.

On July 8, 1953, she married Henry Lee Cessna.  In addition to her husband  is survived by Son- Clarence husband of  Linda (Booth) Cessna, Ohio; Son- Jeffrey husband of  Victoria (Stoops) Cessna, California; Sister- Audrey J. Morris, Bedford; Brother- William C. Ickes, St. Clairsville.  She is also survived by six grandchildren, Drew, Shannon, Brent, Jodi, Holly & Erik, and four great grandchildren, Finn, Anna, Madison & Ellie.

Mrs. Cessna was a homemaker and dedicated her life to her family.  She loved to travel and was always up for an adventure.  Anna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held privately with Rev. Paul Claycomb officiating.

Interment will be held at Woods Church Cemetery.
