Anna Lois (Smith) Diehl

Mrs. Anna Lois Diehl, 88, of Baltimore St., Schellsburg, died Friday, October 13th, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.
Mrs. Diehl was born in E. St. Clair Township on July 1, 1929, the daughter of the late Ivory and Ethel Pearl (Earnest) Smith.
She was the widow of Charles O. Diehl. He preceded her in death on October 19, 1978.
She is survived by Son- Robert E. husband of Linda (Harbaugh) Diehl, York; Daughter- Betty A. Davis, York; Son- Wayne A. husband of Suzanne (May) Diehl, Schellsburg; Brother- Edwin Dale husband of Emma Jean (Diehl) Smith, New Paris; Sister- Florence E. Smith, Bedford. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Jeff Davis, Greg Diehl (Rebecca), Kris Davis (Jill), Bobbie Jo Waldner (Aaron) and Heather Isaac (Paul), and six great grandchildren, Madison, Hannah, Chase, Alec, Ian and Evan. She was preceded in death by a brother Charles Smith and an infant sister, Lavern.
Anna was a member of the Point United Methodist Church. She retired from Hedstrom, where she worked as a seamstress. Anna was a member of the Schellsburg VFW Post #4440 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and she will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 21st, 2017 with Pastor Shane Siciliano officiating.
Interment will be held at Schellsburg Cemetery Schellsburg, PA.
Friends are invited to call on Saturday from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the Geisel Funeral Home in Schellsburg.
