Mrs. Annabell L. Nicodemus, 91, of Cortland Road, Alum Bank, died Tuesday,
July 1st, 2014 at Pennknoll Village.
Mrs. Nicodemus was born in King Twp., on October 2, 1922, she was the
daughter of the late Russell and Florence (Hochard) Allison.
Annabell was a housewife and waitressed at the Howard Johnsons Midway Plaza
in Bedford. She was a great housekeeper, good cook, and loved her flowers.
Annabell gardened into her 80's. She was a member of Alum Bank United
Methodist Church.
She was the widow of Frank C. Nicodemus, whom she married on October 12,
1941 and he preceded her in death on September 22, 2002.
She is survived by Daughter- Bonnie L. wife of William Miller,
Gainesville, VA; Daughter- Connie L. wife of Robert Barefoot, New Paris;
Son- Irving F. husband of Gloria (Bowser) Nicodemus, Alum Bank. She is also
survived by 5 grandchildren, Kursten Szabos, Ashley Edward Miller, Pamela
Allison Patrick, Bradley Allison, and William Miller III, and 8 great
grandchildren, Hunter, Alexis, Spencer, Sydney, Sophia, Austin, Caden,
Jason, and her caregiver Thelma Clarke, of Imler.
She was preceded in death by Son-In-Law Dale Allison, two brothers-Shimer
and Thomas, Sr, two sisters-Avanell Reighard and Patricia Crist Morgart.
A Funeral Service will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc,
Pleasantville, at 10 AM on Friday, July 4th, 2014 with Rev Dave Zona
officiating.
Interment at Fishertown Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call on Thursday 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM at Jack H.
