In loving memory of Mrs. Anna Mary Kight, 95, of Manns Choice, who died at 7:15 PM, Thursday, December 23rd, 2010 at her home
Mrs. Kight was born in Hyndman on Tuesday, January 5, 1915, the daughter of the late Edward and L. Pearl (Lybarger) Stouffer.
In 1939, she married Everett G. Kight. He preceded her in death on September 8, 1986.
She is survived by Daughter- Eloise E. Zacharias, Lancaster; Daughter- Mary Ann Hoffman, Charleston, SC; Brother- Jack Stouffer, RI; Sister- Hetty Dull, Alum Bank; Brother- Frank Stouffer, Manns Choice. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Susan, Amy, Peter, Chris and Rebecca, and nine great grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan, Alex, Rachael, Christopher, Stella, Charlotte, Ava and Henry. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lottie Bockhouse, and two brothers; Harvey Stouffer and Wilbert Stouffer
Anna was of the Lutheran Faith. She grew up attending the Old Lybarger Church, a church that her family help found. Anna graduated from the Cumberland Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and then went on to received her accreditation as a Registered Nurse from the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing. She was employed in the Greentree School District as the School Nurse.
A Funeral Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church in Madley at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 27th, 2010 with Pastor David Wright officiating.
Interment will be held at the Madley Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call on Monday from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at the church.
