Ann L. (Mowry) Wambaugh

Mrs. Ann L. Wambaugh, 79, of Mowry Hill Road, Buffalo Mills, died Monday, October 13th, 2014 at Meadow View Nursing Center, Berlin.

Mrs. Wambaugh was born in Johnstown on Sunday, May 26, 1935, the daughter of the late Ray F. and Stella Mae (Lilly) Mowry.

Ann was the wife of Thomas M. Wambaugh, Sr. whom she married November 10, 1953..

In addition to her husband she is survived by Son- Thomas  M.Wambaugh, Jr. husband of  Janet (Radis), Bridgeport, WV; Son- Anthony P. Wambaugh husband of  Deborah, Herndon, VA; Son- Michael R. Wambaugh husband of  Joyce (Schmidt), Albertis.  Ann is also survived by Six Grandchildren - Virginia, Angela, Sarah, Kelley, Michael & Erin; and Two Great-grandchildren - Alex & Jonathan.

She was a housewife and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Baltimore. Ann was a dedicated volunteer with the Bedford County Historical Society, she loved to travel and was the family genelogist.

A Funeral Mass will be held  at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 16th, 2014  with Father Richard Tomkosky, celebrant.

Committal Services will be held at St. Johns Cemetery, New Baltimore,

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, where a vigil for the deceased will be held.
