Mrs. Amber M. Dull, 93, of Garvey Manor, Hollidaysburg, formerly of New Paris, died at 7:00 PM, Friday, April 18th, 2014.
Mrs. Dull was born in Napier Township on Tuesday, March 15, 1921, the daughter of the late Norman and Prudence (Fleegle) Miller.
On May 18, 1938, she married Michael I. Dull. He preceded her in death on January 9, 1977.
She is survived by Daughter- Mildred wife of Virgil Conrath, Altoona; Daughter- Myrtle Hechler, Alum Bank; Daughter- Dottie Long, Duncansville; Daughter- Joyce wife of Roy Eckman, Millsboro, DE; Sister- Betty Checkeye, Alum Bank; Sister- Doris Richendollar, Clermont, FL; Brother- Donald Miller, New Paris. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Troy, Reo, Marti, Penni, Michael, Jonathan, Adam & Jordon, and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son, George, a daughter, Jane Calhoun, a grandson, William Hechler, a son-in-law, Ronald Long, twin infant sisters, Geraldine and Earldine and by the following siblings; Maxine Robb, Ardis Myers, Henry Miller, Sylvia Miller, Robert Miller, Ethel Kinzey, Cubin Miller & Albert Miller.
Amber was a homemaker and a member of the Pine Grove United Methodist Church.
A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2014 with Pastor Dan Oldham officiating.
Interment will be held at Schellsburg Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call on Monday from 2:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home in Schellsburg.
