Alice Marie (Yarnall) Hillegass

Mrs. Alice Marie  Hillegass, 101, of Market St., Martinsburg, formerly of Osterburg, died Friday, March 3rd, 2017 at The Village at Morrison Cove.

Mrs. Hillegass was born in Pleasantville on Friday, January 21, 1916,  the daughter of the late George and Emma (Myers) Yarnall.

On April 11, 1940, she married David Hillegass.  He preceded her in death on September 5, 1989.

She is survived by  Nephew- Allan husband of Karen Yarnall, Martinsburg; Nephew- Barry husband of Vickie Yarnall, St.Clairsville; Nephew- Jerry husband of Shannon Yarnall, Bedford.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Yarnall and Elvin Yarnall.

Marie was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Reformed Church in Osterburg.  She was lovely and kind woman who will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Reformed Church, Osterburg at 12 Noon on Monday, March 6th, 2017 with Pastor Charles Miller officiating.

Interment will be held at Osterburg Community Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the church.
