Alice M. (Davis) Way

Alice M. Way, 74, of Old State Road, Bedford, died Sunday, August 23, 2020 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital, Snake Spring Twp.

Mrs. Way was born in Napier Twp. on August 6, 1946, daughter of the late John W. and Marie (Herline) Davis.

On June 21, 1969 Alice married Robert S. Way.

In addition to her husband she is survived by Brother- William husband of  Patricia (Weyant) Davis, Bedford; Sister- Pauline wife of  John Nicodemus, Bedford; Brother- Earl husband of  Bonnie (VonStein) Davis, Manns Choice; Brother- Carl husband of  Eleanor (Brown) Davis, Bedford; Brother- Clarence Davis, Bedford; Aunt- Annie Davis, Bedford; Special cousin- Jean Ferguson, Schellsburg.  Alice was preceded in death by her parents and nieces- Stevie Wynn Davis and Kayla Nicodemus.

Alice was a 1964 Chestnut Ridge High School. She attended Shippensburg University for a time.

She was employed by  Howard Johnson Restaurant, South Midway Plaza, Bedford.

Alice was a member of Old Bedford Village where she worked in the Box Office.

She was a member of Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church, New Paris.

Alice was a fan of both the Pittsburgh Pirates and Penguins.

A private viewing will be held at Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church, New Paris at 11:00AM on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 with Pastor Dan Oldham officiating.  Masks are suggested and we ask that you please practice social distancing.

Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park.
