Gail K. (Hipp) Smith

Gail K. Smith, 84, of Everett, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at UPMC Altoona Hospital, Altoona, PA.

Gail was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 18, 1938, daughter of the late William J. and Josephine (Fleming) Hipp.

On October 15, 1960, she married her husband Donald R. Smith, who preceded her in death on April 27, 2023.

She is survived by son- G. Lee Smith, of New Paris; brother- William Hipp, of FL; and great-grandchildren: Gage and Lizabeth Helsel. Gail is preceded in death by son Ed Smith and wife Lisa Smith, and grandsons E. Shawn Helsel and Christopher A. Helsel.

She worked at Mile Level Pizza for 30 years and at Murphy Mart for 13 years. She enjoyed sewing, cross-stiching, meeting new people, pets and her dog Buger.

A visitation will be held Thursday, July 27, 2023, from 3-6 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 6 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Corbett officiating.
