G. Brian Beckett, Jr.

Mr. G. Brian  Beckett, Jr., 30, of Plank Road, Everett was taken from us too soon on Wednesday, August 27th, 2014 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.

Brian was born in Windber on Monday, October 10, 1983,  the son of Deirdre (Bagley) and John White of Bedford and Gregory Beckett, Sr. of New Paris.

On November 24, 2004, he married Robbi (College) Beckett.  In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Anna Beckett, at home; Daughter- Leah Beckett, at home; Sister- Caela Beckett, Bedford; Maternal Grandmother- Judy widow of  Roger Bagley, Bedford; Paternal Grandmother- Mattie Esquivel, New Paris; Father-in-Law- Robert College and Mother-in-Law- Diana Tew, Everett.

Brian was employed as a roofer and served in the US Navy with the Seabee's 7th Battalion during the Iraq War.  He was a huge fan of the New York Jets and loved spending time with his family.  Brian's world revolved around his wife Robbi and his two little girls and was overjoyed to be welcoming his third child, who is due in early October.  He was the perfect husband and father and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, PA. at 8:00 PM on Saturday, August 30th, 2014. with Pastor Melvin Van Orman officiating.

Interment will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park.

Friends are invited to call on Saturday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home in Bedford.
